Since then, the two men are fighting each other through great chases, swordsfights and love adventures. Don Manuel is having a costumed bal where a fake Zorro is having the monopole of the ladies all of them at the same time. Then comes the real Zorro who shows to the King's messager all the Governor's tricks against the poor.The day after, not to fail his reputation, Zorro meets the messager's wife

Non content de ridiculiser les soldats du Gouverneur qui fait régner la terreur dans la province de Basse Californie, Zorro, fine lame et joli coeur, bajoue Don Manuel, le tyran, en lui dérobant sa jeune maîtresse.
Dès lors, les deux hommes se livreront une lutte à mort, et une suite ininterrompue d’exploits amoureux et des faits plus exceptionnels les uns que les autres se succèderont. Zorro accomplira des prouesses pour se tirer des situations les plus délicates en ne faillissant pas cependant à sa réputation sans cesse grandissante de galant homme.
Au cours du bal masqué, donné par le Gouverneur, pendant qu’un faux Zorro donne des leçons d’amour aux dames, Zorro intervient et devant l’employé du Roi dévoile les frauduleuses pratiques du Gouverneur. Et le lendemain, en tête à tête avec la femme de l’envoyé du Roi, Zorro ne faillira pas à sa réputation!…
